The Second Annual Fusebox Eve

We were proud to outfit this year’s Fusebox Eve at Fair Market in Austin, Texas! What is that, you say? It is a fundraising event to kick-off the Fusebox Festival, Austin’s unparalleled contemporary art and performance festival, featuring chefs, mixologists, and designers that certainly know how to throw a dinner party. A one-of-a-kind bacchanal, Fusebox Eve brings artists, art-lovers, and food-lovers together to support what the Austin American-Statesman called, “Austin’s edgiest and most sophisticated festival.”

For the second annual event, Fiore Tedesco (Loca d’Oro) led a team of exciting chefs including Michael Fojtasek (Olamaie), Fermin Nunez (formerly of Launderette and La Condesa), Derek Flynn (Swift’s Attic & Wu Chow), creating dishes with Fusebox artists from all over the globe. Mixologist Bryan Floyd (Sourced Craft Cocktails & Weather Up) covered the craft cocktails. The Event Planner that orchestrated the night was Richelle Ouellette, while McCray & Co and Clay Imports were responsible for the event design. This was truly a one-of-a-kind event for food-lovers, art-lovers, and lovers in general.

We were also lucky enough to attend—the highlight being a comedy-opera performance about a mushroom-induced hallucination. Yes yes…this is why we heart the Fusebox Festival. But that’s not the only reason! We love Fusebox because their core values are completely aligned with ours…
