2026 Wedding Trends

2026 Wedding Decor & Color Trends

We pride ourselves on keeping a finger on the pulse of all things events, and we’re loving how 2026 wedding trends are shaping up. As a reminder, we think that the best weddings are the ones that feel personalized to the couple, so take what you love from these trends and leave the rest!

Spice Up Your Floor Plan

Interesting Dining & Ceremony Layouts

Dining tables that snake around your venue, ceremony layouts with seating surrounding a platform stage, banquet seating—let’s get a little weird with your floor plan!

We’re so inspired by the trend of unique ceremony layouts. Just in time, we have a brand new 8′ Circular Platform that you can use to create a 360° experience by surrounding the platform with chairs, like our classic Negronis or modern Dark N’ Stormys. This stage is also custom color—the perfect opportunity to add a pop of color to the focal point of your ceremony.

For your reception, traditional, long rectangle dining tables will always do the job, but consider alternating between rectangle tables and rounds like our Cirocs to add a some visual interest.

Banquet Seating

We’ll let you in on some insider insight… all of our closest event planner clients are requesting that we add more banquet seating to our inventory! Wedding clients are loving the look of these longer sofas, usually paired with a bistro table for a cozy dining situation, but sometimes as more of a spread-out-lounge-setup with coffee tables and poufs. We recommend booking our Death in the Afternoon Banquet as soon as possible! We see 2026 being a busy year for this sofa.

Drape, Drape, Drape

This is a trend that we are 100% behind. In 2025, we started mastering our draping skills and while we’re not covering full ballrooms just yet, we have had a blast creating draped photo and ceremony backdrops, as well as statement entrances like the one below at Fair Market! We love that the color and material of the drape alone can completely change the vibe of a room.

Bold Color Choices

Another trend we are jumping for joy at is bold color choices. Give us all the color! Don’t be afraid to combine your pinks, reds, purples. Spice things up with lime or a punchy red. Playing with color brings so much fun and personalization to wedding design. Start with shades that you use in your every day life—the accents in your wardrobe, your home decor, and see how you can bring them into your wedding venue with rentals, draping and florals.

Brown As A Base

Another trend we’re seeing in wedding color palettes is brown as a base. Designing your wedding decor around a shade of brown gives you the versatility to add brighter shades. We like to think that the sunset color palettes of the 70’s are making their way back. Pairing chocolate brown with oranges and pinks could be a callback to the groovy, cozy mid-century vibes we’re seeing trend in furniture silhouettes as well.

Smaller Guests Lists, More Personal Experiences

It’s no secret that weddings are expensive and at the same time couples are wanting to provide more personalized, memorable experiences for guests. The result? Paring down the guest list.

Custom Decor

A small guest list can open up some room in the budget for customization! We are seeing a lot more couples who are customizing our existing rentals, with vinyl, decor or a custom paint color, or fabricating something completely unique. Dream up something completely unique like the Seating Chart & Ring for Cocktail Display Wall that we built for our clients last spring!

More Intimate Venues

A smaller guest lists also opens up more venue options! You can choose from bars, restaurants and more intimate event spaces. The truth is… it takes less decor to transform a smaller space so you can be a little more picky with your rental choices. Splurge on a few custom lounges in your wedding colors!

Keeping up with the trends and implementing them in our own unique ways keeps us inspired. We hope that these ideas help you plan and design your dream day (aka, a day that feels fun and personalized to you and your partner)!
