Make Your Favorite Space Your Own
Choosing to have a wedding reception at your favorite bar or restaurant is smart for multiple reasons—you already know you like the food, drinks and ambiance because you’ve spent time in the space, you’ve had experiences with the staff so you know you’ll be well taken care of, and restaurants and bars are often in excellent, central locations.
The only thing that might stop you is that the spaces existing decor not matching your events aesthetic. We’re here to show you.. that’s no problem! Customizing a space with stylish rentals and decor is as easy as Maddie and Micah’s restaurant wedding reception at The Eleanor makes it look.
Before Party Decor
Located in downtown Austin on West 5th Street, The Eleanor is a historic, moody cocktail bar, perfect for a bar wedding reception. The existing furniture consists of rustic, dark wood and leather sofas. Take a peek at these photos of the space before it was decorated for Maddie and Micah’s modern, glam wedding reception.

After Party Decor for a Wedding Reception at a Bar
Maddie and Micah switched things up by going from historic to a little retro, from speakeasy to glam cocktail bar, from moody and chill to upbeat dance floor under sparkling disco balls, streamers and chandeliers. Moontower lounges with plush, colorful velvet, funky checkered rugs and modern accents alone changed the vibe!
Our Syrah Modular Sofa, Pink Lady Sofa, and Napoleon Lounge Chairs were the stars of the show (second to the bride and groom, of course!) Streamers by Pop and Drop overhead changed the ceiling from aged wood to a flashy canopy for the dance floor.
