Three Ways to Provide an Immersive Guest Experience

In order to produce an immersive experience, you need to consider three key elements: engagement, emotion and atmosphere. Reverly Bridal threw an event called House of Wed at The Allan House in Austin, inviting other wedding vendors to showcase, and soon-to-be brides to browse, to get to know their brand and product. In this blog, we’ll to use this event as a case study in how throwing an immersive event doesn’t have to feel like rocket science!
Engagement
You’ve probably seen an insurgence of personalized activities at weddings and events—bars where you can get branded cowboy hats, make-your-own-floral-arrangement carts, and tattoo stations are just a few examples.
As an activity for guests, Revelry used our Arch Wall with Inset Shelves to display bridesmaid dress fabric samples. Attendees could mix and match to create their perfect combination of color and pattern. An engaging, hands-on activity like this makes choosing your bridesmaid dresses much more memorable than just browsing a website full of photos. If you’re going to spend money on a branded event, these are the kind of impressions you want to make with interactive installations!
Emotion
Think back to the last wedding you attended.. the part you probably remember the most was when you cried during the bride and grooms vows, or when you laughed with friends on the dance floor after a few glasses of champagne. Tapping into guests’ emotions creates memories and one emotion that most soon-to-be brides are feeling is unfortunately… stress. Revelry customized our Custom Color Photo Corner, with a calming shade of green and vinyl text, as a space where guests could “confess the stress” into a rotary phone.
Atmosphere
This category for us? No sweat. From the beginning, we’ve been transforming the atmosphere of a space with rentals. The key here is choosing rentals in colors and patterns that coordinate with all of the other decor you’ve chosen to provide a cohesive experience. Our Sales & Design Lead for this job selected our lime green Lime Drop Lounge Chairs and Lime Pillows to call back to the green in the photo op, paired with our Pink Lady Sofa, which brought in the feminine vibes needed to bring through the bridal shop brand.

The first step is to decide how you want your guests to feel. Want to sell bridesmaid dresses in an upscale, girly, fun atmosphere that your guests will remember?
