Upscale Backyard Wedding Design

Luxe Backyard and Private Residence Wedding Rental Inspiration

The biggest thing you should take away from Laura and Stewart’s at-home wedding design is that a backyard wedding doesn’t have to lack elegant, luxe decor. Of course, these pieces look stunning at a modern Hill Country house with a pool and an amazing view, but the good news is that you can recreate this design wherever and it will still give luxury because of the quality and design of the rentals.

The foundation of this design is our Manhattan Dining Chairs, used for both the ceremony and dining setups. The choice of a dark, upscale dining chair like this, versus a typical “outdoor” style (think light wood, more organic, casual chairs), sets the tone for the rest of the rental picks. When you start with the Manhattan for seating and dining, it won’t feel like a stretch to have nice, luxe lounges alongside.

Laura and Stewart continued the upscale, romantic design into their living room, which was cleared out and transformed into a restaurant-like dining space using our Syrah Modular Sofa and Boulevardier Bistro Tables. When the guests went from inside to out, they were surrounded by lounges filled with velvet sofas and lounge chairs. The selection of black coffee and side tables as accents tied the lounges in with our black Prohibition Petite Bar, Sidecar Display Shelf and Julep Cocktail Tables so that the whole design felt cohesive, from ceremony chair to dance floor.

This was the recipe for the perfect upscale outdoor wedding—keep scrolling and see for yourself!
