The Glamping Wedding Experience with WhereInn Event Accommodation

When we work with couples to select the best rentals for their big day, our focus is on what type of experience they want to have. Are they imagining an all-out dance party? Are they social butterflies or wanting something more intimate? Each couple deserves a wedding experience that best represents their love. Since your family and friends are coming from far and wide to be with you and celebrate, a unique glamping wedding is the best way to get as much QT as possible.

We imagined wide open spaces for an intimate, glamping wedding environment. To bring our vision to life, we partnered with WhereInn Event Accommodations, Venues and Vows, Natalie Holzem Design and Nicole Ryan Photography for this “Modern Al Fresco” styled shoot. The beautiful hill country property—supplied Venues and Vows, who specialize in sourcing alternative spaces for events—was just the place for us to spread out our rentals and play.

Ceremony

We wanted to create something intimate, with no bells or whistles to distract from the beauty of the moment. Simple wood benches and a runway for the bride to float down was all it took. The storybook tree and golden sunlight didn’t hurt either.

Accommodation

It wouldn’t be considered “glamping” without the proper luxe accommodations! WhereInn’s stylish and roomy bell tents provide the perfect shelter for your guests. The Honeymoon Suite includes its own lounge so that the couple can steal a few moments to themselves and the Guest Suite is prepped and stocked with everything needed for a weekend getaway.

Dining

We so loved the dining set-up that Natalie Holzem styled using our Biergarten Table. It’s elegant and just perfect for the open-air setting. Imagine a meal shared here with close friends and family as the sun sets… yes!

Lounge

There is no element of this weekend wedding that feels rushed. The purpose is to slow down, settle in and really enjoy each others company. If you ask us, there is no better way to catch up with your out-of-town guests than simply sitting and chatting with a coffee, cocktail or roasted marshmallow.

Weekend Activities

We headed out to the hill country for this styled-shoot, and recommend a bit of time spent at the many nearby winery, distillery or brewery! Desert Door Sotol is one of our favorites! Or, explore some of the nearby natural wonders like Pedernales FallsEnchanted Rock, Hamilton Pool, 0r the Blue Hole Regional Park! There are also some small towns worth visiting for some antique shopping like Johnson City (don’t miss Echo gallery and antiques) and Fredericksburg!

We’re so in love with this shoot and know that this collaboration will call out to couples who have a similar vision for their wedding. It’s not your typical venue or flow of events, but it is an experience of its own category that can be customized in a way that is truly, yours.

Reach out if you’d like to discuss your own glamping wedding experience. We’d love an excuse to get this dream team together again!
