Out in the Texas Hill Country, about 35 miles west of downtown Austin, you will find a picturesque 67-acre ranch perfect for hosting your next event. 71 West Ranch Retreat, in Spicewood, was the ideal spot for a modern western glam-styled shoot planned and designed by the talented Maxwell + Gray Events and Design.
This wedding blends a western wedding feel with pops of color and chic modern glam vibes. 71 West houses several outdoor spaces, an indoor reception hall, and private preparation suites.
The stationary and signage by 26 Pressed added more vibrant colors to the natural beauty of the landscape that blends a western touch with vibrant modern colors.
The Roman Side Table’s curving details added a romantic design element that enhanced the glam vibes. To add a touch of western to the scene, the solid oak Sotol Coffee Table was an excellent addition. Fun Fact: This sweet new table series was conceived to allow each leg post to attach either on or off its corners, a rotation of 90 degrees, for a stately, distinguished look. A natural beauty in solid white oak with a natural finish, this coffee table shows off the oak’s beautiful grain patterning and shades. Inviting more communication with its lower profile, it sits closer to the ground on sturdy dowel legs.
Our Tequila Sunrise Sofa speaks for itself. Even on a dreary day, the Tequila Sunrise Sofa paints a stunning display perfect for lounging and mingling and makes for a creative photo backdrop. The tones of the sofa paired perfectly with the soft velvet of the Sherry Velvet Ottoman and Hot Toddy Lounge Chairs, which also added a contrast and softness to the modern lines of the building exterior.
Another stunner to this wedding was the florals, perfectly executed by the talented Native Bloom. The florals added just the right amount of character and a stand-out element among the natural hues of the Texas Hill Country.
