Five Big Event Fabrications from October
As Austinites know, October is one of the most exciting months in the city. Between ACL Fest, Formula One, Food & Wine festivals, and everything in between, the season brings big opportunities for brands to make an impression.
This October 2026 was our Production Department’s biggest month yet! Take a scroll through some of the event fabrication projects that kept us busy this month and had the largest footprint.

ACL Photo Op
We fabricated this massive, soundwave-inspired photo op for the 25th anniversary of ACL Fest. Each of the colorful, wavy pieces stood about 6 ft feet tall, was custom-painted, and secured to a truss that we covered in a clean frame. We built rounded benches for the sides that fit right into the design, and attached branded signage and greenery. It was definitely the most popular photo op at the fest, perfectly framing the skyline views. Check the ACL 2026 highlight on our Instagram page to see how popular this build was with festival goers!
Two Big Fabs for Esses Magazine’s F1 Bazaar:

Brand Hub and Merch Display
We fabricated this big merch display for Esses Magazine‘s Bazaar during Formula One weekend. This fully custom, multi-faceted piece featured arched shelves on both sides, providing tons of room for displaying merch. The clean, white shelves on the front were used to display magazines and the arched windows functioned as a checkout counter. It was branded with patterned vinyl wraps and dimensional signage to complete a perfect hub for guests. For an event that lasted well into the evening, it also had elegant lighting elements—love the day-to-night transformation pictured above.

Branded Bazaar Booths
Also for Esses during F1, we built four of these branded bazaar booths. Each one was complete with branded bars, branded awnings, and working light fixtures. It was so cool to see the way these builds transformed the outdoor spaces at Inn Cahoots into a marketplace during the event and how they created an individual footprint for each vendor. So much more fun than sticking your vendors under a standard tent!

Three-Room Brand Activation Build
In collaboration the talented ladies at Pink Cactus Productions, we designed and built a three-room activation that was complete with a lounge, a full-size bar for drinks, a mini-bar for registration, finished floors, a draped ceiling treatment, power-outlets, and the pièce de résistance…a salt rock light installation integrated right into the wall. And all in the parking lot of the downtown Whole Foods store!
Instead of just activating in the store, we created an entire space that was dedicated to the brand. It was bold, eye-catching, and we saw many Whole Foods customers come from the parking lot just to see what it was all about. See it on video here!

Oversized Step and Repeat
When you’re planning a gala at Q2 Stadium, home to Austin’s Major League Soccer team, and a normal step and repeat won’t make a big enough statement, you build one that’s 44 feet wide and 10 feet tall. This statement piece, complete with a “green carpet” for guests to walk as they entered the event, was big enough to draw attention in a professional sports stadium.
From festivals, to brand activations, to galas, event fabrication is a surefire way to guarantee your decor makes an impact.. especially when you’re doing it in a big way. Want to see more of our custom portfolio? Visit this page!
