Unexpected Wedding Color Combinations
According to Brides “9 Wedding Décor Trends Planners Can’t Wait to Design in 2025”, unexpected color combinations are in! One thing about Moontower is that we’re not afraid of color. When we heard that the color palette for this wedding at Camp Lucy was orange and green, we couldn’t wait to show off the range of color in our inventory with this unexpected combination.
Green and Orange Wedding Color Palette
Why does this work so well? Let’s chat color theory real quickly.. orange and green are part of a triadic color scheme (along with purple too, but not used here), meaning they are high contrast but can compliment each other. That said, it’s all about mixing the right shades or else it can end up looking like a carnival. Incorporating natural materials like wicker and wood, whose colors are orange-adjacent, can help your design not feel too overwhelming, but keep the bright, energetic feel.
This event came at a perfect time because we had some new arrivals that fit the bill, like our Fuzzy Navel Modular Sofa in this fun shade or coppery orange. Some other standout moments pictured here are: our beloved Ring For Champagne Wall—a wedding favorite, flanked with our new Checkered Wood Pedestals, our Prost Three-Tier Display Tower stacked with champagne glasses, and last but definitely not least, the indoor lounge where our new Juneshine Coffee Table was the cherry on top of this modern design.
