Check Out the Top Summer Wedding Colors for 2024
If you’ve been in the wedding industry for most of the last 10 years like us, you know that we’ve gotten pops of color here and there, but there hasn’t been a summer where this much bright color has been on-trend in a while! Dare we say the trends this summer are coming the closest to the level of David and Victoria Beckham’s bright purple reception looks since their wedding in 1999?! If you don’t know this reference, stop right now, Google it, and then come back to this blog post. You won’t regret it.
Color is back, baby! We’re going to talk through three hues, how these colors are being used in summer 2024 weddings, and what Party at the Moontower inventory you can rent to achieve the look.
Lime
The last time you seriously thought about lime green might have been as a 2000s teen decorating your bedroom—who knew you’d get to use it again in your wedding decor? Organic, garden-themed weddings are trending and lime is the perfect touch to step this theme up a notch. Bedazzle actual limes with pearls and adorn your tables in lime green velvet.
Our Lime Drop Lounge Chair was literally made for this moment! Consider mixing greens with an emerald sofa like The Pernod or go a little more organic with the golden color of The Pimm’s.
Peach
We could see this coming with Pantone’s color of the year prediction, Peach Fuzz. The thing we love about peach is that it plays well with other colors. Pair it with bright yellows and lavender for a super fun, funky setup or tone it down as a beautiful accent in your florals if you’re leaning more classic.
Peach is so lovely with the dark gold velvet of our Aperol Lounge Chair or the bright orange from our Gold Rush. Picture an organic floral arrangement with peach accents on the corner of our Cosmopolitan Single Bar where your guests will be grabbing orange-colored spritzes.
Blue
Now, blue is not a new trending color in the wedding industry. We don’t see the French-blue-destination-wedding-in-Italy vibes going out of style any time soon, but we do love this lean toward incorporating more of a wildflower blue aesthetic. If you’re located in Texas like us, this may mean bluebonnets in your floral arrangements!
Our Hanky Panky Lounge Chair will give you a pop of soft blue velvet while keeping things more classic and our Vieux Carre will bring those organic, garden party vibes to the function. Navy sofa options will pop next to that arrangement of wildflowers—our Avalon Sofa and Moet Sofa are both perfect for the job.
