We were thrilled to be a part of Lindsay and Román’s special day! They didn’t let a pandemic get in the way of them falling in love, and they celebrated for an entire weekend. They tied the knot with unconventional wedding vibes at Vuka in Austin, Texas. Vuka is a unique event space with a bohemian feel; their Bouldin Creek location is nature-inspired with a special backyard, loft space, restored warehouse, and local artist tapestries. Their beautiful day even included two fluffy alpacas who helped them celebrate. P.S. You can rent trained Alpacas for Weddings, Corporate Receptions, Birthdays & more from Texas Party Animals!
We love everything about this wedding, especially seeing our El Diablo lounge chairs. Their modern, clean shape and pop of color matched beautifully with the florals from Merveille Events. Our Campari Sofa‘s curving silhouette, upholstered in velvet, helped create a cozy space for guests to mingle. Here are some of our favorite photos from this gorgeous day! These moody autumn and rust color palette have us missing fall a little bit.
An exciting feature of this unconventional wedding was the unique reception layout using multiple seating styles and arrangements—standard dining tables, smaller bistro tables, and lounge pods. Typically we see couples use all identical seated dining setups. This excellent mix made for a particularly memorable setup and will inspire other couples looking to do the same.
