We were excited to help United Way celebrate 100 years of serving the Austin community as a sponsor of A Night United! Pink Cactus Productions gave everyone a lesson in how to deck out Fair Market, an iconic Quonset building in East Austin used for all sorts of events. Filling such a huge space, inside and out, can be a challenge so let’s chat about how they accomplished this and where our rentals came in to play.
Inside Fair Market
A combination of our long Harvest Tables and smaller, round dinner tables helped filled the space. Our Harvest Tables are eight feet long so they’re great if you need to take up space and seat a bunch of guests. These tables seat up to ten people and they can also be set end to end to double your table length. We brought twenty-four Harvest Tables for the night!
On stage, our Fluted Podium was set against a celebratory backdrop of neon and colorful fringe. This fun, bright-colored stage was definitely the focal point of the room and kept everyone’s eyes on the speakers. An important thing to remember while planning your next corporate event is that your stage will probably be the most photographed area, so don’t be afraid to go all out!
Outside Fair Market
There were four different custom lounges that brought the festive, vibrant colors from the indoor space outside with them. These statement lounges included pink, orange and green sofas, accessorized by velvet pillows in all shapes and colors. Modern coffee tables, side tables, bright lounge chairs and rugs completed the lounges. We helped the organizers craft statement lounges that made each space feel like it was part of the big celebration. As you can see, these bright lounges really popped on the lawn!

These comfortable lounges were placed in the corners of the Fair Market outdoor space with picnic tables and cocktail tables scattered throughout the lawn for mingling guests.
