Featured Inventory: The Portrait Lounge

If you didn’t take a picture at an event, did you even really go? Just kidding. You must certainly did and were most likely just too caught up in the moment to capture it. But for those first in line at the photo booth — we have the cutest portrait lounge waiting for you!

The key to designing the perfect portrait lounge for a wedding or corporate event is to first take note of the space itself. Will the photo booth be tucked into a corner, or will it be the centerpiece of the event? If we have some space to play with, we love creating a standalone vignette where a small group can take over and make the shot their own. This look most likely requires a lounge sofa, rug, a few poufs, a healthy number of throw pillows and of course, plant life!

Our favorite version of the portrait lounge is where we get to simulate an old-school arcade photo booth, but with a tent. Because we all take our sauciest and/or goofiest photos when no one is watching! We’ll deck this bell tent out with the coziest rentals, so you may need to have someone on standby to make sure no one falls asleep at the party…

If we’re working in a completely open space and need to set-up our own back wall, we have several pieces that serve just that purpose. We can keep it rather simple with our boxwood wall, or really embrace the Austin spirit with our vinyl record wall. This type of set-up is ideal in a VIP lounge area, or at an event with a lot of foot traffic to mark the spot for photos.

If you need a portrait lounge for your next event, add the rental pieces you’d like to include and submit or reach out so we can discuss your ideas! If you’re searching for the “photo” aspect of the portrait lounge for your event, we love working with Nicole Ryan Photography.
