Ralph Lauren Western Wedding Lounge

Ralph Lauren–Inspired Western Wedding Lounge

Ralph Lauren has always balanced classic, tailored style with rugged, natural materials. Arguably the essence of a Texas wedding! At a true Texas celebration, you’ll see black-tie suits paired with leather cowboy boots, and flowing white wedding dresses accented with cowboy hats. That contrast between refined and Western elements makes this theme an ideal foundation for designing a Texas wedding.

Elevated Styles Blended With Texas Accents

We started this lounge design with rentals that really hit the Ralph Lauren aesthetic nail on the head—woven leather Madeira Lounge Chairs and a brown textured Toasted Almond Rug. We added shades of olive with a low, relaxed Death in The Afternoon Banquet Sofa in green velvet and poufs to match. Angular, brown velvet Bellini Chairs that were a little darker than the shade of the rug provided the perfect contrast.

We chose two light wood Metropole Coffee Tables as a natural, but polished, centerpiece. Then, we elevated the whole design by incorporating green, marble Bernice Side Tables.

We’re convinced this lounge could fit right in within the racks of clothes in a Ralph Lauren store, or in your Texas wedding venue. Our tips for blending a western wedding and Ralph Lauren aesthetic? Play with earthy colors and textures, don’t forget your leather and wood accents, and even though you might be tempted… don’t go too crazy with plaid. Use just one or two plaid accent pillows paired with a few neutral, textured pillows to get the point across.

Bonus Design Tip: Trendy But Personalized

With any popular wedding theme, you run the risk of overlapping designs with other brides. How can you prevent this? Start by building your Ralph Lauren-western-themed lounge and once you’ve chosen a few pieces, take a minute to consider your own personal style. Do you find yourself drawn to that marble, green side table that might not be the obvious choice for your theme? Include it! You want your wedding to be a reflection of you and when trends go out of style, you’ll be able to look back and see those pieces that you were personally drawn to. (Although truthfully, we don’t think Ralph Lauren ever goes out of style.)

In the end, a Ralph Lauren–inspired Texas wedding comes down to balance. Refined but relaxed. By layering classic silhouettes with rich textures and subtle Western details, you create a space that feels both elevated and inviting. Mix materials with intention, and don’t be afraid to add a few unexpected elements that reflect your personality. When done right, it won’t feel too much like a theme, but the perfect design choices for a Texas wedding.
